We reworked the playstyle formulas a little, the rating chart now has an average line on it, and there's analytics for views of your dossier page.
The reworked playstyle radar
Player archetypes got an update: 3 of the 6 axes have been redone, and one more has been added.
PvP focus used to be the share of hunter kills among all your kills (AI included). Sounds reasonable, but it didn't really capture the point. It is now simply hunter kills per match.
Objective was banishes divided by banishes plus deaths - which brings together "do you play for the boss" and "do you survive", two completely different questions. It is now boss banishes per match.
Clue scout was weighed against your kill pace. It is now clues per boss banish - how many clues you scout out for each lair you open.
And a seventh axis has appeared: Risk appetite - deaths to other hunters per match. Whether you throw yourself into a fight or play to get out alive was never on the radar; it was hiding in the denominator of the Objective axis. Now it's a dimension of its own, and it affects your archetype.
Most hunters' archetype will change. Since the algorithm changed, the whole roster had to be recalculated. All the archetypes are still the same ones - they've simply been recalculated for every user.
Besides that we made a few more small fixes to the archetypes, and generally made the feature a bit nicer to use. Worth saying that it's still not a 100% picture of your playstyle, just a feature for fun. But it's a little more accurate now.
An average through the noise
The rating chart on the dossier page is correct, but it used to be hard to read: MMR moves every match, and the line turns into complete mush. Now the chart also carries a dashed average line over the last 180 rating changes - the trend is visible, and you don't have to squint at it.
The caption under the chart names the window, and hovering a point shows both numbers: your absolute rating at that moment, and where the average was running. The average is always computed from real rating changes, not from how the chart looks at the current zoom - so it means the same thing however far you zoom in.
Dossier view analytics
The view counter under your name can now be opened. Press it on your own dossier and you get a per-day chart of the last 30 days, with the same day / week / month switch the activity chart has.
Per-day view counting only started now, so the chart begins from this point, even though the total above it counts from earlier.
The feature is available from the Contractor tier upward - along with everything else at that tier.
Everything else
- We tidied up KDA and K/D goals a little - you can now hover the "to go" value and we'll estimate how many more kills will get you to your target if you stop dying.
- Plus a pile of small bugfixes and stability work.
