Questions

  1. Why does my overlay show the watermark?

    It is how viewers find the Bayou Ledger, and the one thing we ask in return for free perks. If a paid plan already lets you hide the watermark, a badge does not change that. Otherwise, hiding or cropping the watermark may result in the perks being withdrawn.

  2. Do my perks expire?

    Creator, Partner and Crytek perks all last 6 months and renew when you verify again - your settings are kept.

  3. I have the Creator badge. How do I get the other perks?

    Subscribe to any tier on the Upgrade page. A subscription combines with any badge: you keep the badge and everything it gives, and add the tier's perks on top. Your badge and your billing never affect each other.

  4. I already support the ledger. Does anything change?

    No. These perks sit alongside any subscription and never touch your billing.

  5. What if my application is declined?

    You can apply again 30 days after the decision. Every application is reviewed by a person, so decisions are not strictly objective and a borderline channel can go either way.

  6. I meet the requirements, but my badge was refused or removed. Why?

    Every decision is a person's judgement call, not a formula. Meeting the requirements makes your channel eligible, but it is not a promise: we are not obliged to grant or keep the perks, and may decline or remove them at our discretion.

  7. Could the list of perks change?

    Yes. This list is not final and may change in the future.
