A free overlay demo, and new things to show on it

You can now run the overlay free for five days, and the overlay itself has learned to show your current rating, your avatar and your place on the leaderboards.

Five days free, no card

There's now a free 5-day demo: your own real numbers on your own stream, nothing charged and nothing to cancel - it just ends.

You start it on the subscription page: the Overlay plan card carries a "Try 5 days free" link under its Select button. Worth knowing before you spend it:

  • One demo per account, ever. Once it's used it isn't offered again.
  • The bayouledger.com watermark stays on for the demo. Subscribing hands you the switch for it.
  • You can subscribe at any point during it - no need to wait for it to run out.
  • Everything else is the real overlay, including the fast refresh that keeps the numbers current mid-match.

New on the overlay

An overlay card with an avatar, a rank badge under the name and the current-session grid

Four new settings in the overlay editor. Nothing changes on an overlay you've already set up until you switch them on and save it yourself:

  • MMR (current) - the absolute rating (3 250), not how far it moved tonight (+42). You can show both at once.
  • Clash rating - a switch that turns every rating on the card into your Clash one.
  • Your avatar next to your name.
  • Your rank - a #237 · top 5% line under your name. You need to be visible on the leaderboards for it to appear.

Full setup guide, as always, in the documentation.

Thanks, everyone! And spread the word 🙂
